Abyss Messenger(https://abyss-messenger.gamestrategists.com)
发布者是独立开发者 alphaBETA DEV(GameStrategists),一个人,不是公司。
Cookie |
|---|---|---|
/(游戏首页) | 本站、pagead2.googlesyndication.com(三轮各出现)、static.cloudflareinsights.com(三轮各出现);googleads.g.doubleclick.net 与它的探针 Cookie 在三轮里出现一轮 | 只有 test_cookie@.doubleclick.net 一条,且只在广告走到那一步的那一轮 |
/terms(本页)、/privacy、/about、/contact | 只有两个主机:本站与 static.cloudflareinsights.com。
五单的状态、每一单拿到的评分、走过多少秒和多少距离,全部只写在这台设备浏览器里的三个键:abyss-save.v1(进度)、abyss-lang(您上次按语言按钮选的是中文还是英文)、abyss-sound(环境音是开还是关)。
条款本身有疑问,写信到 contact@gamestrategists.com;涉及个人信息的走 privacy@gamestrategists.com,以 隐私政策 那一份为准。
Abyss Messenger (https://abyss-messenger.gamestrategists.com)
This subdomain holds one thing: the browser copy of Abyss Messenger: The Last Five Letters — a 3D island called Kestrel, five landmarks (the lighthouse and jetty, the southern reef, the wreck cove, the bone shrine, the deep lab), five letters that have to reach five recipients in order, four puzzles that only close once two accounts line up, twelve echo fragments you can pick up along the way, and four endings. It is published by alphaBETA DEV (GameStrategists): one person, not a company.
Two neighbouring things fall outside these terms. The pages on the main site, gamestrategists.com — the game profile, the walkthroughs, the changelog — carry their own terms; where the two disagree, this page is the one that counts for the site you are actually playing. And this game has no second distribution channel: outside the browser you cannot get it at all. Three other titles in this project (Dajin, Room 404 and Xiaoqi) do have offline Windows packages on the Microsoft Store, and this one is not among them, so there is no store-side installation, refund or content rating here for anyone else to answer for either.
Nothing in this game costs money: no sign-up, no purchases, no paid chapter, no payment method to connect. Because no money comes in, there is nothing to refund — a dispute over whether an ending was worth the walk has nothing here for anyone to act on, and no one can undo a choice for you either.
Domain and hosting do cost something, and the plan is to cover that with revenue from the Google AdSense script the pages load. The game’s own page does load one Google ad script (measured 2 November 2026: one tag on three separate samples), but the slot inside the game sits behind a switch that stops before it ever mounts, so no labelled ad frame that we placed appears on screen. Measured the same day in a real browser: on the title screen and on this page, zero boxes reading “AD”, zero ad containers with a bounding box larger than nothing. Once you are in the game the page does gain one 0×0, hidden ad container — that is the ad loader’s own standby element, invisible on screen and not a position we reserved. Which ad runs is the network’s decision; we neither see the shortlist nor pick from it. How ads choose you, and how to switch personalised advertising off, is written in the privacy policy — that is the document in charge of it. If the serving status changes, the sentence above changes with it.
One more distinction belongs here rather than in the summary: the ad script lives only in the game’s own page. On 2 November 2026 five pages were each opened three times and every outbound request was written down, and the two kinds of page do not produce the same table —
| Page | Hosts seen | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
/ (the game) | this site, pagead2.googlesyndication.com (all three rounds), static.cloudflareinsights.com (all three); googleads.g.doubleclick.net and its probe cookie appeared in one of the three rounds | one only: test_cookie@.doubleclick.net, and only in the round that got that far |
/terms (this page), /privacy, /about, /contact | two hosts: this site and static.cloudflareinsights.com. None of the ad endpoints appeared in twelve readings | none |
That Cloudflare beacon is injected by the hosting platform into every document and reports aggregate traffic and performance only. Every number quoted on this page comes from readings like these, taken page by page — not from copying another site’s legal text.
There is no “sign this before we let you in” step here: the title screen has no box to tick and no “accept” button. Measured in a real browser on 2 November 2026, the visible buttons on an untouched title screen are two — Begin delivery (which reads Continue delivery when this device already holds a run) and the language toggle in the corner. That screen also carries the way to the five explanatory pages: About, Contact, Disclaimer, Privacy and these Terms, in one row along the bottom.
Nor is there a dedicated health-warning screen, and it is honest to say so: what you see on first launch is the game. The subject matter is deep-sea horror mystery — three years ago your brother Lin Yu came to Kestrel as its courier, left five letters unposted, walked into the pump station under the reef and never came back; you are Lin Xi, finishing his last round on his route book. The soundscape is mostly low-frequency and synthesised on your own machine, and it is only created after you actually press Begin delivery: before that press this site has no audio context at all and asks you for no permissions. If you would rather walk the whole thing in silence, the button in the top-right corner turns ambience off at any point after you enter.
This is a single-player work: no other players, no chat, no request for anything that identifies you. It is not aimed at children under thirteen.
Several ordinary clauses have nothing to apply to here, so there is no rule for them: there is no account, so nobody can be banned, there is nothing to appeal and there is no one who could “terminate your service”; nothing is charged for, so there is no refund process; there are no forms that collect anything about you, no comments, no uploads and no interface for other programs to call. The game does have two input boxes — the one on the delivery check and the one on the summary screen that asks for a frequency — and each sits inside a form, but both paths stop the browser’s default behaviour first and compare strings locally: on 2 November 2026 a full pass from opening the page to entering the game, switching language and muting ambience recorded zero requests that were not GET and zero script errors on the page. Whatever you type is compared and then thrown away; it does not even reach your save file.
Our reach over any individual here is small, and, equally, only you can touch the run on your device. The five delivery statuses, the grade each one earned, and how many seconds and how far you walked are written to exactly three keys in this browser: abyss-save.v1 (progress), abyss-lang (whether the language button last left you on Chinese or English) and abyss-sound (whether ambience is on or off). There are two routes that actually work today for clearing them: Start over on the summary screen — which first reads the cost back to you in the browser’s own confirmation dialog, saying how many grades are about to go — or clearing site data for this origin in your browser. The title screen contains a second Start over button which, measured the same day, stays hidden on the page; the reason and the plan for it are both in the privacy policy, where this is written up as a defect to fix rather than a design we intend to keep. So today the summary screen is the only in-game way out.
On copyright this page keeps the wording this site has always used, adding nothing and taking nothing back: except where stated otherwise, the text, images, code, game design and story here belong to alphaBETA DEV (GameStrategists). They may not be copied, modified or redistributed without written permission. To use any of it somewhere else, write to contact@gamestrategists.com and say what you want to use it for and how you will credit it.
robots.txt allows User-agent: *, contains no Disallow line at all, additionally names nine AI and generative-research crawlers it permits (Google-Extended, GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai, CCBot, Omgilibot, PerplexityBot, Applebot-Extended), and declares this site’s own sitemap. The previous version of this page said “no automated tools to scrape this site’s content in bulk (search-engine crawlers excepted)” — that sentence contradicted the robots.txt sitting on the same domain (measured 2 November 2026: Disallow 0, named allow-list 9), so it is replaced by the one above. Naming those crawlers is so that people can find this game and summaries can quote it; it is not permission to pull the text out in bulk and rebuild a site elsewhere, which is still the redistribution case above and still needs a question first. This is a project maintained in spare time: there is no service-level promise, no guarantee it is always reachable, and no guarantee that what an answer field accepts will never change. Before your input is checked, the four puzzles and the hidden ending all normalise it first (full-width folded to half-width, leading and trailing space stripped, lower-cased, whitespace removed, Chinese sentence-final punctuation dropped) so that someone who typed the right thing is not turned away; if we ever tighten an accepted value or reorder a delivery, a walkthrough published before that change will stop matching the live game. Two things are promised instead: changes leave a record, and mistakes are corrected openly rather than quietly. Do not expect a third beyond those, measured against a commercial service.
Every change to this game is filed in the main site’s changelog, each entry with its own date, newest first. This page deliberately does not copy that count: it moves each time an entry is filed, so writing “there are N entries” here would be false the next morning. When the body of this page genuinely changes, the date at the top moves with it — it is read from the last recorded change to this page’s text, not typed in from an editorial calendar.
No liability is accepted for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of this site; content here is for entertainment and reference, not professional advice. Kestrel Island, the village story of a “great beast”, the cable ship that went out in 1962 and never came back, the pump station of 1978, the caretaker roll of the shrine and the secrecy paper removed from a county cabinet are all invented. They imitate the layout of real institutions and real archives so that a player has to make choices in an interface that feels ordinary; they represent no real organisation, person or event.
The terms change in one way only: this page is updated and the date above is replaced. Nothing on this page asks you to click anything, and nothing in your browser records whether you have read it — as the section about the title screen says, there is nothing to tick before the game lets you in — so “continued use means you accept the updated terms” has to be taken literally: keep using the site and we treat that as acceptance; if you do not accept it, close the page. The game does not break for you either way, and nobody stops you playing because you never read this.
Questions about the terms go to contact@gamestrategists.com; anything about personal data goes to privacy@gamestrategists.com and is governed by the privacy policy. A human writes the replies. How long they take is stated once, on the contact page, so this page does not copy a second number for the same promise and give two pages a reason to disagree.
