What this is

Abyss Messenger: The Last Five Letters is an original 3D deep-sea delivery adventure. You are Lin Xi: carrying the route book of your missing brother Lin Yu, you deliver five unsent letters to five recipients. The 1962 cable-ship accident, the 1978 pump station under the reef and the village legend of a “great beast” slowly line up in what those five tell you; the fifth letter has your own name on it.

How it plays

• Free exploration of a three-dimensional undersea world, with a toon-shaded look.
• Five residents with distinct personalities, and five small delivery journeys.
• Works with keyboard and mouse or with touch, so it plays on a phone too.
• Progress saves as you go, so you can always come back and finish the last letter.
